UPDATE: New information in Franklin County puppy shooting case

Last month we told you about a shocking case of animal cruelty in Franklin County. Two puppies were shot several times. Both survived.  The dogs' owner, Troy Breeden, said he knew who did it all along and tonight we're learning he was right

A grand jury has indicted his neighbor, and landlord, John Lumsden. Investigators say he confessed to shooting Apollo and Zeus, both 10 months old at the time of the shooting,  with a 12-gauge shotgun because they were chasing his livestock. The dogs are a mix of Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd.

Breedan gave his two dogs up because he lost his job and couldn't care for them.  He's trying to get them back but it may be too late. Zeus is close to being adopted. While Apollo has been transferred from the Humane Society to another facility.
