UPDATED: One person arrested in Danville robbery

Home invasion robbery happened Friday evening; police still looking for second suspect.

One suspect has been arrested in an armed robbery in Danville.

It happened around 8 last night in the 12-hundred block of Glenn Street.

The suspect's name is not being released because he is a juvenile.

He's been charged with use of a firearm in commission of a felony, grand larceny and robbery.

The residents of the house were reportedly held at gunpoint while the robbers gathered cash and valuables.

Police are still looking for a second suspect.

Danville police are on the lookout for two suspects in a home invasion.

It happened around 8:00 Friday night in the 1200 block of Glenn Street.

The residents were reportedly held at gunpoint while the robbers gathered cash and valuables.

No one was hurt.

Authorities are looking for two men in their late teens or early twenties.

Police say they left in a burgundy four-door sedan, maybe a newer model Nissan Maxima.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a call of a home invasion at an occupied residence in the 1200 block of Glenn Street.

The occupants of the home were held at gunpoint while cash and items of value were gathered.

The suspects were described as:

#1 light skinned black male, late teens or early twenties, taller than 6 feet, wearing a black hoodie or jacket, using a gray cover over his face at times during the robbery, and wearing blue jeans.

# 2 was approximately 5’4” tall dark skinned black male, 17 to 19 years old, with a plaited hairstyle, blue jeans, black Nike boots, beige hoodie, and beige toboggan style hat 

The suspects fled the scene in what witnesses described as a newer model burgundy four-door sedan, believed to be a Nissan Maxima.

No one was injured in the incident.
