MARTINSVILLE, Va. —
A man from Martinsville was killed in a house fire Friday night.
The fire happened on Terry Street.
Officials say it started in a bedroom, possibly from a smoldering cigarette.
It appears the owner of the house was trying to make his way out when he passed out.
