AMHERST CO., Va.—
A man was arrested for allegedly waving a handgun at drivers on the Route 29 bypass in Amherst County on Monday.
Clarence Ferrell, 43, of Alton was charged with brandishing a firearm and having a concealed weapon, according to a press release. Ferrell was driving a silver Chrysler in Madison Heights when the incident took place.
Ferrell was released and will appear in Amherst County General District Court.
Investigators took a 9mm handgun was during the investigation.
