ONANCOCK, Va. (AP) —
Authorities are investigating another suspected arson on Virginia's Eastern Shore.
WAVY-TV reports that an unoccupied building in Onancock burned almost to the ground late Thursday night. Nearly 70 fires have been set on the Eastern Shore since November. State Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Onancock resident Emory Hurst says the building that burned Thursday was most recently used to store farm equipment. He says it was a schoolhouse in the early 1900s.
