AMHERST CO., Va.—
An argument between two brothers led to a shooting Saturday in Amherst County.
Investigators say Kemper Smith, 59, of New Carrolton, Maryland, was shot in the hand around 4 p.m. on Turkey Mountain Road.
His brother, 57-year-old Satchell Smith, is accused of shooting Kemper Smith. Satchell Smith has been charged with malicious wounding.
The brothers reportedly both own the home where the shooting took place. They were apparently arguing about a roommate living at the home.
Satchell Smith has been released from jail on a secured bond.
