UPDATE: Woman killed in Route 11 wreck in Pulaski County identified

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman who was killed Friday morning in a crash on Route 11.

61-year-old Carol Davis of Radford died in the accident.

The drivers of two other vehicles, 19-year-old Brittany Mitchell of Radford and 33-year-old Laura Crowder of Dublin, were extricated from their vehicles and taken to the hospital. Mitchell was treated and released, Crowder was transferred to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

We're waiting to find out the name of the woman killed in a three-car crash in Pulaski County on Friday morning.

The accident happened on Route 11, near Dublin.

The wreck shut down traffic in both directors for hours.

Police say there was heavy fog in that area, but they aren't saying if it caused the crash.

The other two drivers were taken to the hospital.

No word on their injuries.

Update: WDBJ7 New River Valley Bureau Chief Orlando Salinas is on the scene and tells us a woman was killed in the crash.  We are waiting for authorities to release her name.  Right now both lanes of traffic are closed.

At least one person was killed Friday morning around 8:30 in a crash on Route 11 between Dublin and Fairlawn.

New River Valley Bureau Chief Orlando Salinas reports three cars are involved.  The crash is near the intersection with Courtney Lane, just north of Dublin.

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports both northbound lanes closed as of 9:45 a.m.
