I don't see how you'd think that this fire does any harm to Bassett Furniture Industries (karma, as you say). I'm sure that any of Bassett's furniture being stored in that building (if any) would be covered by the corporation's inurance. But, wait a minute, any Bassett brand furniture that was in that building would have already been donated by Bassett to the non-profit charitable organization which was using the building to store donated goods, thus the pieces of furniture were a tax write-off for Bassett.
As for "all those hard-working employees who are now without jobs", sadly, they've been without those jobs since 2001 when factory operations ended for this building, and all those jobs went to China.
