Bedford County's administrator resigns

Bedford County Administrator Kathleen Guzi is stepping down.

At a meeting Monday night, Bedford County's Board of Supervisors voted 6-1 to ask Guzi for her resignation.

Chairman Chuck Neudorfer was the only supervisor to vote against the measure.  Neudorfer called the matter "unprofessional."

Guzi has served as Bedford County Administrator for the past six years. She has worked in the County Administrator's office since 1986.

Guzi's last day is Thursday, February 16.  Assistant County Administrator Frank Rogers will take over on an interim basis until a new administrator is hired.
