BEDFORD COUNTY, Va.—
A Bedford man has been arrested on charges that he beat another man with a baseball bat.
42-year-old Kevin Pillsbury was arrested on malicious wounding charges.
The victim told police that he fell asleep on the sofa, and woke up to Pillsbury beating him with a bat.
The victim ran to a neighbor's home, who then called police.
The neighbor told police that Pillsbury was standing near the victim when they opened the door.
The victim also told police that Pillsbury had been drinking.
