Three cars were involved in an accident on Bent Mountain Road near Moonlight Lane around 10:30 this morning.  Two people are dead and two others injured.
Police say two vehicles were traveling down the mountain into Roanoke County from Floyd when a car going up the mountain swerved into the wrong lane.
Steven Key of Bent Mountain died at the scene.  James McNeil who's from Pilot died at the hospital.  The other two victims, Samantha Stump of Copper Hill and Daniel McNeil of Pilot, are expected to be okay.

Police say Key was traveling southbound on Bent Mountain Road when, for unknown reasons, his Toyota went into the northbound lane.  McNeil was traveling northbound on Bent Mountain in a Subaru and was unable to avoid a head on crash.  Investigators say the Subaru left the roadway and rolled into a field.  After impact, the Toyota drifted back into the southbound lane. Samantha Stump had been driving a Chevrolet directly behind the Subaru.  Stump swerved into the southbound lane in an attempt to avoid the first crash and struck Key’s vehicle.
