Blacksburg woman evicted days before Christmas
Seven days before Christmas and a 75 year old woman is being evicted from her apartment in Montgomery County.

Julie Belcher has lived in Blacksburg's Warmth Hearth Village for more than 6 years. She says the complex said her apartment was way beyond dirty.
Managers told WDBJ7 they've been trying to work with Belcher for nearly 2 years. On Tuesday, deputies showed up with eviction papers.

Belcher said she was told to move were her cats first, "I have to put the cats in the car it's not going to be warm in there for them. And then I have to drive completely off the property while they walk through my apartment."

Tonight, Julie Belcher is staying in a local motel with her cats and is looking for a new place to live.

Warmth Hearth says this is the first time a tenant has ever been evicted.
