ROANOKE, Va.—
Cancer never sleeps, that's why this event goes all night long.
The American Cancer Society is holding a Relay for Life event on Reserve Avenue in Roanoke Friday night.
The event helps raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
As with all of the relays, teams of people were camped out, with representatives taking turns walking a track to honor those who have fought the disease.
