A heads up to folks in Christiansburg.
You'll get an emergency call from the town Thursday - but don't worry, it's just a test.
At 11:00am, a call will go out to the 12,000 phone numbers currently registered with the town's emergency database.
"The test call ensures that we can reach the community quickly in case of an emergency," says Town spokesperson Becky Wilburn, in a press release.
You can still register your phone number online. Just go to the town's website, and click on the CODERed banner on the left side of the screen.
