Christiansburg woman accused of robbing pizza shop after saying she had a bomb

A Christiansburg woman accused of stealing a purse from a restaurant and robbing a second restaurant after telling employees she had a bomb is in jail.

28-year-old Tabitha Scott has been charged with grand larceny, armed robbery, and threat to bomb after the incidents on Dec. 6.

According to the Christiansburg Police Department, Scott stole a purse from the Farm House Restaurant around 7:40 p.m. About two hours later, police say she went into the Little Caesar’s on North Franklin Street and told store employees she had a bomb. Scott walked out of the store with money.

She was arrested after a Farm House employee recognized her and called police.

Investigators didn’t find any weapons or explosives.

Scott is being held at the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
