RADFORD, Va.—
A Christiansburg woman accused of embezzling $18,000 from a Radford store has been indicted by a grand jury.The grand jury handed up five indictments against 36-year-old Michelle Powers.
Powers used to work at NRV Healthcare in Radford. She is accused of embezzling $18,000 from the store while she worked there.
She was arrested Tuesday and released on bond.

On Friday, March 9 a Radford Grand Jury handed down five indictments on Michelle Dawn Powers, a former employee of NRV Healthcare LLC located on the 700 Block of Randolph Street in the City of Radford. These charges are in regards to an embezzlement complaint received. These charges are the result of extensive investigation by Radford detectives; this case was presented to a grand jury to consider indictment.
Powers was arrested on 03/13/12, taken before a magistrate and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. Powers allegedly embezzled over $18,000 while employed.
