Classes are starting two hours late at Bland County schools Thursday morning. School district leaders are concerned about the weather. WDBJ7 Meteorologist Leo Hirsbrunner says that area may have seen some freezing mist which can cause slick spots on the road. Black ice is to blame for a tractor trailer wreck on Interstate 77 in Bland County. It happened at the interchange with US 52/VA 42. A tractor trailer headed northbound slid on black ice, went through a guardrail, and ended up in the southbound lanes. No other vehicles were involved. State Police expect the wreck to be cleared up by 8:30 a.m.
