The wintry weather made for a messy commute, but that didn't stop loyal fans from heading out to see The Zac Brown Band.
Fans weren't shy at The Roanoke Civic Center of Friday night; they were too pumped up to see The Zac Brown Band.
Erica Lunin and Eve Pomerance know all the words to the popular song Chicken Fried, a well known part of the group's set list-and a staple in their home.
"We love Zac Brown so much. A lot. We're roomies; it's just all we hear in our apartment, when we clean, when we study," they said.
The wet, icy and cold temperatures were no match for diehard fans.
"I'm here to see the Zac Brown Band. It's Friday night, about to have a good time, get a little loose," said George King.
And some fans are more dedicated than others.
One pair of fans we spoke to drove 440 miles to get to Roanoke.
And as for those who filled this coliseum, they were doing just what the song says, enjoying a cold beer on a Friday night.
It's estimated about 7-thousand people were in attendance for the concert.
