Fire crews confirm no one was in the house at the time of the fire.
They say the cost of the damage is about $80,000.

Neighbors tell WDBJ7 that they believe the house is empty right now.
It is a rental property, and the last tenant they know of moved out on November 30th.
Fire crews have gotten the flames under control, but are still putting out some hot spots.
