An injured hunter has been rescued in Rockbridge County.
He hurt himself in the Petites Gap area when he fell from a rock.

Nearly a dozen agencies are trying to rescue a hunter who hurt himself in Rockbridge County.
The accident happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. in the Petites Gap area.
The hunter apparently fell from a rock and dislocated his shoulder and cut his head.
The accident happened in a very rugged part of the county, which has made the rescue difficult.
