DANVILLE, Va.—
An off duty Sheriff's Deputy was arrested Thursday night following a domestic dispute according to Sheriff Mike Mondul.
It happened on Broad Street near Main Street just after 9:30 p.m.
Deputy Joshua Lucia was charged with domestic assault and battery and was released on bond.
Lucia is on administrative leave while the sheriff's office conducts an internal investigation.
