What were divers doing in a pond near the Clearbrook Wal-Mart in Roanoke County?

Investigators from Bedford County say the dive team was looking for evidence related to the robbery of Bob Terry.

The 81-year-old man was robbed and nearly beaten to death inside his Moneta store about a year ago.

Deputies would not tell WDBJ7 what they were looking for.

Jason Shell, the man charged with the beating, is scheduled to stand trial in December.
