Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld visited Roanoke Thursday night.
The Roanoke City Republican Committee invited him.
Rumsfeld answered questions from Roanoke college professor, Harry Wilson.
The discussion focused on Rumsfeld's memoir, which he published last year.
He also talked about Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rumsfeld served as Secretary of Defense under President Gerald Ford and George W. Bush.
