A Pittsylvania County teenager has been charged with DUI following an early-morning crash Thursday in Danville that sent two people in the car he was driving to the hospital.

The accident happened around 2 a.m. on Parker Road. When officers got on scene they found a 1993 Chevrolet Corsica with two men trapped inside. Both had to be cut out of the vehicle and were airlifted to the hospital.

Police say the driver of the car, 18-year-old Tylor Searce, was found walking nearby. He was arrested.

One of the people in the car was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and the other was flown to the University of North Carolina Hospital. Their conditions are not known at the time.
