Educator running for House of Delegates

Have you ever thought about what type of ego a person needs to run for public office? They have to be able to convince you, they know better than you do, what you need in your life. They convince you how much you deserve something & they reveal a plan to make someone else pay for it. Although they don't actually say it directly, the end result is they are convenced your stupid & they're smarter. Ever wonder why lawyers make such good politicians? They go to schools & hallowed universities which teach them how to deceive, lie, and manipulate the english language (with a dose of latin) so much, that you really don't know what they are saying, you're embarrassed to ask, but you're sure it's right & after all, they surely wouldn't lie to you. They are, after-all, esquires & honorable so & so's, delegates, gentlemen, gentle-ladies, etc. They can lie to you so well, & tell you how stupid you are, that it makes you feel excited about it. And you feel so good about it, you actually pay them for their advice, er-um excuse me, 'services' or you vote for them.........again & again & again.

So you'll have to excuse this good lady's first attempt at running for office. Although she has lofty goals & ambitions & is being schooled by the honorable, esquire senator from VA, she has not yet attained his level of persuasion. She will, however, receive a few votes.... from the ill informed.

Once again we are provided with a candidate who believes in obfuscation instead of specificity.  We had this wonderful reader telling us what wonders he would do to fix all the problems of that raunchy Texan and how bad he and all his rabble rousers were.  We thought he had a halo and carried a mace.  We believed him.  We got nothing.  We have nothing still.  Now, the question is whether Freeda Cathcart is an obfuscator and just another politician willing to say anything superficial to get a vote?
