The Fourth Annual Thomas Jefferson Wine Festival will be held Saturday, November 17th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the lawn of Poplar Forest at 1542 Bateman Bridge Road in Forest.
The event is open rain or shine and guests are asked to use the front door.
Not only will the wine festival feature 14 different Virginia wineries but visitors can also get a tour of Thomas Jefferson's retreat home, and the festival will welcome the launch of the Jefferson Heritage Trail.
The Jefferson Heritage Trail serves as the link between Jefferson's two homes in Monticello and Poplar Forest, a way to honor the past, and translate his vision for the country into the future.

Tickets are $20 if you purchase before the event, otherwise $25 at the door.
