DANVILLE, Va.—
Danville leaders urging the owner of a nearly demolished building to secure it or tear it down.
Earlier this year fire gutted Hylton Hall, a former administration building for Dan River Incorporated.
City council had planned on razing the building until members saw the half a million dollars price tag.
They say the building is unsafe and often broken into.
The owner of the building is working to save what didn't burn. Council says the owner will have to tear it down.
