The Danville Red Cross is helping a man and his 10 year old son after a fire broke out at his house early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews say the fire started at a house on Claiborne Street around 3:15 a.m.
The flames started in the kitchen on a stove-top.
The fire damaged cabinets.
The kitchen also has smoke damage.
No one was hurt in the fire.
