Two firefighters were seriously hurt Saturday morning when their fire truck overturned in Bedford.
The crew was heading out to a brush fire on Peak Street when the accident occured.
A total of four firefighters were hurt. Two of them suffered minor injuries.
Here's more from the Bedford Fire Department:
Today, December 1st at 11:52 a.m., Bedford Fire Department’s Engine 1 was involved in a single vehicle motor vehicle accident while responding to a reported brush fire in the 4100 block of Peaks Street.
Firefighters on the truck immediately called for assistance at the accident which was in the 1200 block of Peaks Street in the City of Bedford.
Four firefighters were injured, two sustaining serious injury, two minor injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.

Police tell WDBJ7 that a fire truck has overturned on Route 43 in Bedford.
There is no word on if anyone got hurt.
