Five people indicted on burglary charges in Franklin County
A Franklin County Grand Jury handed up indictments against five people Monday.

The indictments are in connection to burglaries to at least nine locations in Franklin County.

The thefts occurred between February 2011 and February 2012.

According to the sheriff's office, the thefts mostly involved jewelry, change, copper and televisions.

On Monday, March 5, 2012, a Franklin County Grand Jury returned 65 indictments on 5 individuals for burglaries and larcenies. At the end of a six week investigation by Investigators Eric Ingram and J. P. Nolen it was determined that probable cause existed to connect, Frankie Harrison Jr., Nicholas Harris, Jessica Wright, Taylor Young, and  James  Austin to burglaries at nine Franklin County locations as well as larcenies at three other unrelated locations in Franklin County.

This group of individuals is connected to thefts of mostly jewelry, change, copper and televisions from February 2011 until February 2012.

Harrison, William Franklin Jr., 27, of Rocky Mount, Va. wanted on 16 felony charges for Burglary and Grand Larceny.

Harris, Nicholas Charles, 26, of Rocky Mount, Va. arrested on 24 felony charges for Burglary and Grand Larceny and 2 charges for Petty Larceny.

Wright, Jessica Lynn, 21 of Wirtz, Va. arrested on 12 felony charges for Burglary and Grand Larceny.

Young, David Taylor, 19 of Rocky Mount, Va. arrested on 6 felony charges for Burglary and Grand Larceny and 2 charges for Petty Larceny.

Austin, James Jeffery, 24 of Rocky Mount, Va. arrested on 3  felony charges for Grand Larceny.
