Four people were shot early Saturday morning. Now Roanoke Police are looking for the shooter.
Officers were called to the 18-hundred block of Moorman Avenue shortly before 5:00 a.m.
They didn't find any shooting victims there, but they were notified that four people had been admitted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds.
They range from 18 to 25 years old.
Anyone with information on who may have shot the four, please call Roanoke Police.
Here's more information from Roanoke Police:
The Roanoke Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on September 29, 2012. Officers responded at 4:47 a.m. to the 1800 block of Moorman Avenue in reference to shots fired.
Upon arrival officers did not locate any victims. Officers then received information that the victims were transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) by private vehicles prior to officers’ arrival.
Officers located the following four individuals at CRMH:
Harold William Grant, age 24
Shamor Addisema Hill, age 25
Steve Yves Frontus, age 25
Isaac Alfred-D’Angelo Day, age 18
Through the course of the investigation officers determined that the victims were shot while in the 1800 block of Moorman Avenue. No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information should contact the Roanoke Police Department at (540) 853-5959 or Crime Line at (540) 344-8500. Crime Line may offer a monetary reward for any information leading to an arrest.
