Two days after heavy rains in the area some roads are still closed.
Washed out roads and bridges in both Franklin and Rockbridge Counties, left some residents stranded.
Now, most have re-opened, some with a temporary fix.
Greenway Road is still closed. A big chunk of it is gone.
It's an inconvenience for Lisa Atkins Crook.
This time the high waters also took out most of her garden, washing away hundreds of vegetable plants.
"When it floods down here it takes my land. We used to have two acres. Now maybe an acre and a half, maybe not even that much now," said Atkins Crook.
Crook's home wasn't damaged but it's unclear when her road will re-open.
The Virginia Department of Transportation will have estimates of repair costs in a few days.
