Update - 1:45 p.m. -
Steven Ray Dillon is now back in custody. Deputies got word that he was driving to Rocky Mount. They caught up with him at the intersection of Bennett Lane and Old Franklin Turnpike and arrested him without incident.
He's charged with Felony Escape Custody and is being held without bail.
-----------------------------------------Franklin County Sheriff's deputies are on the hunt for a man who escaped their custody Friday.
Deputies say Steven Ray Dillon II was arrested just before 4:00pm Friday, on charges of breaking and entering. They say he was processed at the Sheriff's Office on those charges, but then just after 5:00pm he ran off.
Dillon is described as a 26-year-old white man. He stands about 5'6" tall, weighs about 140 pounds with sandy blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and tan cargo shorts.
