Two more churches in Bedford County have been targeted by thieves.

Investigators say fuel from two different churches has been stolen this month. Earlier this week a nativity scene was stolen from a church in Forest. Click here to read that story.

The first report of fuel being stolen was Dec. 1 from the Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Fuel was taken from a tank behind the church. A witness saw a dark-colored F-150 pickup truck in the area of the church the night before.

On Dec. 7, the Bethesda United Methodist Church in Huddleston reported that fuel from one of its tanks was taken.

Fuel was siphoned from tanks in both incidents, investigators say.
