Funeral for Shirley Hodges to be held this weekend

A Franklin County woman will soon be laid to rest.

Shirley Hodges' body was found hundreds of miles away from her home.

Hodges' remains were found on October 1 in Alabama.

She disappeared in August from her home after an argument with her boyfriend, Stanley Crotts.


Crotts killed himself in a Texas motel room.

Investigators think Crotts probably killed Hodges.

Funeral services will be held at Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel in Rocky Mount at 2 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 11.
