The price of gas is high but analysts claim they could increase over the weekend in our region.

    $3.65, $3.69.
Those are the prices a gallon for unleaded, we've seen the past few days.
But the number could take a jump this weekend.

While driving around Roanoke on Friday, we saw prices vary from $3.51 a gallon all the way up to $3.69 a gallon.
But prepare yourself, there could be a significant increase this weekend.
Analysts with GasBuddy.com say the cost could go up 5 to 20 cents.

"Unfortunately, I think it's a direct result of a number of things.  Mostly importantly our involvement with foreign oil.  I think it's probably time.  For me I was pricing hybrid cars this morning," said Jennifer Crow.
"I'm in the oil and gas industry.  All of these prices are manipulated.  There is no shortage of oil and gas and so it's just a way of bankrupting our country.  So, it's unfortunate to say," said Bruce Love.

Gas prices are up 50 cents a gallon, compared to this time last year.
