They've been to the most devastated areas of the country. Today they're back from yet another disaster.
God's Pit Crew based in Danville returned Wednesday night from a town ripped apart from a deadly tornado in Alabama.
Crews spent a week moving hundreds of trees from houses. They gave food and buckets full of toiletries to more than 70 people.
"The folks we worked with were mainly elderly people or poor people, and when you got there you could see the expression on their face. They did not know what to do," said volunteer David Willis.
The team of 15 left Danville with less than a 12 hour notice.
Three tornadoes touched down in Alabama early last week killing two people and damaging hundreds of homes.
