FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va.—
A Hardy man died Sunday evening after his pick-up truck went off Route 122 and flipped in Franklin County.
The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday on Route 122 North, just south of Route 699.
James Blankenship was taken to Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount where he died. Blankenship was 66.
He was wearing a seat belt, according to Virginia State Police investigators.
