A Henry County man is going to prison for starting a fire at the Bassett Furniture Warehouse in November.

Silas Crane pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to breaking into the warehouse to steal copper wire, and accidentally starting the fire.

The building burned to the ground.

Crane is also guilty of stealing metal from Easter's Auto Sales in Henry County.

A judge sentenced him to 1 year and 1 month in prison, and fined him nearly $970,000 for the crimes.
