A Lynchburg coach is getting national recognition from a professional football team.
The Washington Redskins named Heritage High School's Brad Bradley their high school football coach of the week.
Bradley will get a Redskins hat and certificate. Heritage will also get a check for $1,000.
That money will buy meals for players and coaches before upcoming football games.
"Anything that we do, we do together," Bradley said. "That's our biggest saying and how we do things. We do it together. This is not one person. It's not an individual award. It's a team award."
The Heritage football team hasn't lost a game all season.
They play Martinsville this Friday.
