ROANOKE, Va.—
It was a fiesta at Elmwood Park in downtown Roanoke Sunday. It was the 8th annual Latino Festival.
It's billed as the biggest Hispanic event in Southwest Virginia. Other communities were invited to help celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month of the Roanoke Valley.
The festival featured traditional dishes, colorful costumes and vibrant dancing. There was even a live Latino orchestra that played salsa, mambo and cha cha. The event was organized by Hacienda Sunday.
