Hundreds of people have it marked on their calendar.
Next weekend the Roanoke Mission of Mercy Project will hold a free dental clinic. But people need to have a ticket to receive treatment.
Tickets for the free dental clinic will be given out in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts at Crossroads Mall on Airport Road this Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m. The tickets are free.
Last year 1,000 people were treated at the free clinic.
It's held inside the Roanoke Civic Center. Patients received free cleanings, x-rays, oral surgery, and fillings from area dentists who donated their time for the clinic.
Organizers say they've already received a lot of calls about this year's free clinic. The Roanoke Mission of Mercy knows the service is badly needed in this economy.
"Dental needs are so great," says organizer Melinda Payne, "Folks put this off. You know when your money is tight you let your teeth go."
The free dental clinic will held March 30 & 31.
