You've probably heard the saying "Virginia is for lovers" but some would argue "Virginia is for HUNTERS". The 2nd annual Huntfest took place at the Roanoke Civic Center this weekend. The event included a wide array of products for hunters and other sports enthusiasts as well. Several charities were on-hand to take donations for the needy. We spoke with several people to see why they're enthusiastic about hunting.

We spoke with Daniel McGee who is a bull rider and hunter. “Just the fact that you can provide for yourself and then give to 'hunters for hungry' or whatever, I mean it's one of the oldest traditions in the world,” he said.

Huntfest included a fishing pond for the kids and kids at heart. Some young men from Franklin County showed off their catch to our camera. Also a special guest made an appearance.          Brian Quaca, also known as "Pigman", spoke to fans. He has his own TV show on the Sportsman Channel.
