A Bedford County soccer team is giving their community reason to celebrate.
The Jefferson Forest High School varsity boys soccer team made history for their school a few weeks ago.
They went undefeated this season and won its first state championship.
Fans came out Tuesday to celebrate the win with a parade and signs congratulating the team.
"It's amazing," said JF soccer team captain, Bryan Zaring. "We didn't think anybody really cared about soccer, but coming out today and seeing all the people who showed up to support us just feels great."
JF went 24 and 0 this season. The team also finished first in regional and district championships.
Zaring won state player of the year and longtime coach Jedd Zaring won Virginia coach of the year.
The celebrations don't end with parades. A banquet is being held to honor the JF team Tuesday night.
