After helping Joplin tornado victims this spring, a Lynchburg man is heading back to the midwest.

Richard Szymczyk is a volunteer with the Red Cross and is flying to Minot, North Dakota Wednesday morning to help after massive flooding.

He is part of the Disaster Services system and is an EMT - a volunteer with Boonsboro Fire and Rescue.
