Lynchburg bikeway will close off and on for three weeks

If you'd like to take advantage of the nice weather and go for a bike ride in Lynchburg, listen up.

The city's Blackwater Creek Bikeway will be closed from 6:00 am until 3:00 pm over the next three weeks.

There is still storm debris from the June derecho wind storm that needs to be cleaned up along that trail.

There are other clean-up plans in the works as well.

The bike trail will be open as normal on the weekends.
