Lynchburg Democrats are gearing up for a visit from the vice president.
Joe Biden will rally voters at the Lynchburg Armory this Saturday. Tickets are being given out at three campaign offices in Lynchburg.
Supporters who stop by to get a ticket are being recruited to volunteer for the Obama team. They're being asked to call voters and canvas neighborhoods for the President next week.
Biden supporters say they appreciate the Lynchburg visit.
"It means a lot, and because he's second in command," said Linda Snead, an Obama supporter from Rustburg. "He thinks a lot of us to come here. Of course we'd rather have Barack here, but we'll take (Biden)."
Tickets to Saturday's event are available at these Obama campaign offices:
