A hometown financial center can now be found on Wall Street.
Lynchburg's Bank of the James is now listed on the NasDaq Stock Exchange. The announcement was made Wednesday morning.
The bank's president says this move will help increase investor confidence.
Bank of the James has been serving Centtral Virginia in 6 hometowns for the last 12 years.
