We have new details about a Franklin County farmer who shot his neighbor’s dogs.
A judge acquitted John Lumsden on Friday.
Lumsden said he shot the dogs because they were harassing his three-month-old calf.
He shot the dogs with a 12-gauge shot gun using some sort of bird shot.
Both dogs recovered.
Lumsden was facing two counts of animal cruelty and two counts of maiming a companion animal.
