LYNCHBURG, Va.—
One of the men accused of breaking into a Lynchburg home last year and holding an elderly man hostage has pled guilty to charges he was facing.Charles Anthony Horsley entered pleas in Lynchburg Circuit Court Thursday morning to charges of robbery, abduction, and breaking & entering for holding up an 81-year-old man at his home on Link Road December 21, 2010.
Lynchburg Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Chuck Felmlee says Horsley pointed a gun at the 81 year old, tied him up, and threatened to kill him if he didn't give him the money he demanded.
Horsley faces a maximum punishment of three life sentences, plus 13 years when he's sentenced May 27.
A second man charged in relation to the Link Road robbery, Stefan Hairston, is scheduled to go on trial in June.
